  • As the father of two, now adult, children, Ricci has experienced the challenges of single parenthood, while working two jobs and going to school.
  • As a first responder for more than 30 years, Ricci served in numerous capacities, including K-9, SWAT, STEP, the Motor Division, and as a resource officer. He also served as an Emergency Medical Technician for a local ambulance company.
  • While proudly serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, Ricci was assigned to the Naval Air Station in Atlanta. This brought him to Cobb County where he has been a resident since 1987.
  • Ricci is a member of Eastside Baptist Church and an active volunteer for Blue Thanksgiving, Inc., a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local law enforcement.
  • Ricci is a true conservative Republican who believes that the government truly is created by the people and exists to serve all the people, not just special interest groups, large campaign donors and groups who can fuel future political careers.

Ricci has a heart for service and after more than 30 years of public service to the people of Cobb County, Ricci now hopes to continue his service as Chairman of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.
